Stroke Prevention and Education

Shocking Stroke Statistics

Worldwide, strokes are the second leading cause of death and the third leading cause of disability. One in six people worldwide have a stroke in their lifetime, and stroke claims a life every six seconds. According to the World Health Organization and other leading stroke experts, stroke kills more people each year than AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined.

These are some scary statistics to face because many people don’t realize just how prevalent and dangerous strokes are. The good news is, 80 percent of all strokes are preventable, treatable, and beatable.

Our goal for this Stroke Prevention and Education facilitation is to equip you with the information and perspective you need to understand the signs and symptoms of stroke and take measures to get medical help before it’s too late. Additionally, we want to give you the tools to understand what preventative measures are necessary to combat your risk of stroke and keep your body working in an optimal state.

We are extremely motivated to make a positive impact in the world by helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. We believe that many people settle for mediocrity when they deserve greatness, and it's our honor to help you realize your potential for health and wellness so you can achieve everything you desire and more.

We practice what we call "Priority Based Health Care". Basically, it's looking beneath the surface of symptoms to find the more fundamental causes for conditions. Then, addressing those causes in the proper order so the mind, body & spirit can achieve complete wellness. What a concept! So simple, yet not widely practiced.

Get the Facts

Most of us know someone who has suffered a stroke, but many of us couldn’t explain how that stroke occurred, or even describe what happens in the body during a stroke. We want to help you get the facts and at least understand the basics of how a stroke develops and affects the body.

Why? Because knowledge and education is the best way to keep yourself healthy and safe!

In addition to discussing signs, symptoms, and preventative measures for avoiding stroke, we’ll also explore statistics involving stroke risk amongst different demographics. For example, normally people associate stroke with old age, and while that’s an accurate assumption (stroke risk increases with age), what most people don’t know is that stroke can affect people of all ages - including newborns and children.

Learn more and don’t miss this opportunity to educate yourself and keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy.

We Can’t Wait to Get Started on Thursday, May 21st at 8:00 pm CDT!
